Honolulu resident Shawn Felip’e; Thai-American heritage and his personal misadventures forms the basis of many of the elements of his stand-up act which have won an award for Best Take out Comic in Honolulu 2004, His stand up has been televised on AZN TV’s “Asia Street Comedy”, Sprint’s Comedy Time Network, World Asia Comedy “DVD” and “Television” ImaginAsian TV’s “Comedy Zen” Volume 1, PBS’s “Crossing the Line” and TFC’s MYXD “SlantEd Comedy”. His stand up live performances has been in Japan, Canada, Singapore, Guam and Saipan Internationally and nationally at select Universities in the United States, and the east, west coast and mid-west of the United States. He has been the main comic for the number 2 ranked concert/ club in the nation and ranked 5 in the most busiest clubs in the world "Pipeline Cafe Hawaii. His Comedy DVD "Smell My Finger" has been nominated for best new artist in Honolulu by HAWAII MUSIC AWARDS" and has released his CD album "Smell My Finger Again". He has also opened for Jokoy, Anjelah Johnson, Ralphy May, Jim Jefferies, Ahmed Ahmed, Michael Winslow, Patrick Deguire, Lachlan Patterson, Robert Schimmel, and Russell Peter’s. He also has an extensive acting resume with commercials with Bud Light and Coca Cola and a TV cop series on NBC's "Hawaii".
