Shawn Seals born and raised in Syracuse, new york, became involved with music at a early age, like most of his family he was raised in the church,Shawn took a strong interest in the keyboards early on in his life and as time went on he became adapt at 5 more instruments Currently he is the musical director for his church as well as a band leader for a group he calls "the Shawn Seals Experiment, a group that plays a mix of fusion, nuwave, neo-soul, r&b, classic jazz, funk and gospel. he was formerly a member of Sammy Award winning group C Jack Run revue, In the past he has performed with such notables as the Rev James Moore, Vanessa Bell Arrmstrong, Fred Hammond, John hinton, Najea, Joe Piscupo, John P Kee, Hezikiah Walker and the mighty clouds of joy and was the opening act for Yolanda Adams prior to her rise to fame In 2006 he became a major member of the JSJ5 Collective,a Syracuse based song writing team formed by his former Manager John Harper,Author/Songwriter/lyricist and 8 other musicians, singers, rappers and writers including Johnnie Tootes aka J5. Shawn Seals to his credit has a total of 5 completed cd's and has produced numerous cd's for others. Shawn has spent the years developing his sound and skills both in the studio and live on stage keep your ears open for this multi-talented artist.
