Shella da Blasian has just released her new underground album; THE GEISHA EXPERIENCE!

She has devoted her ART OF MUSIC into the release of her new hot single, SWITCH!

In 2012, Shella went on her 2nd tour of Japan (Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Okina, etc.) and in 2011, she ran for the title of "Miss California," representing the city of Gardena.

She has been featured on various mix-tapes which have coined her as the, BILINGUAL SONGRESS."

In 2008, Shella was sponsored by Kimmora Lee Simon's clothing line, Baby Phat.

She has also appeared on many promotional projects; such as, the Toyota Scion CD sampler.

Shella reflects and says, "....this is what led me to embark on a journey to bridge the gap between Asian and American urban pop markets."


Meet Shella da Blasian:

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Shella hit the music scene at the ripe age of 11, with the support of her Japanese mother and African American Father. She began performing at school events, house parties, Dj-ing and entertaining family and friends. A year later, her father who was a major support in her life, was tragically killed. Shella recalls, .thats when my passion for music was birthed!

After losing her beloved father, she began to express her thoughts and emotions through her writings and performances. By the age of 14; she was collaborating with many other young artist from her home island, Oahu. At this time, her music was being spun on major radio rotation.

By the time she was only 15 years old; she was in New York City shopping record labels. She caught the eye of Swizz Beats and the Ruff Ryders. At that time, they immediately signed her to Ruff Ryders label! Her career was headed in a positive upswing! Then dreadfully, she suffered another devastating loss. Her Mother, whom she loved and admired, was murdered in Waikiki. She was then forced to move to the main land with family at the age of 16.

After losing both of her parents to violence and being thrusted into a brand new world and environment, Shella remained focused on the goals that she and her parents set. She predestined herself to be successful and to strive for excellence in everything she does.

Numb to the world with music as her only viable outlet; Shella started to produce her own original tracks and songs. She graduated from high school a year early and went on to study engineering, receiving her pro tools operators license. She engineered sessions with many platinum selling artist; such as, Lil Flip and the late great Nate Dogg.

Upon the release of her first independent E.P. album, Blasian Music, presented by DJ Princess Cut, Shella went on her 1st tour of Japan and Americas southern region; branding herself as, The Blasian. The album landed on the Billboard Top 100 Hip Hop/R&B album charts in 2008. During this tour, she built a solid fan base in Japan and Americas Hip Hop scene.

From Japan to the United States; this Japanese/African-American beauty is bringing attention to her erotic, melodic rap style as an art form which she coins as, Blasian. She is notorious for building and investing into her skills & talents through her company, Blasian, Inc. She works hard and BRANDS herself; through commercial endorsements, performances and promotions while capturing a solid fan base with both men and women worldwide!


Shellas musical influences are Eve, Da Brat, Lady of Rage and Mc Lyte. Shella currently lives in Hollywood, California, recording, producing, modeling and operating her company, Blasian, Inc.
