""Feeling Good" lives up to its title"

Rarely can you trust the title of an album, but "Feeling Good" lives up to its title. Hamilton starts off with a high-spirited cover of Nina Simone's "Feeling Good", which used to be a very "sad" track, but Shelley gives it new life, bringing out the Good in it.

Feeling good is not all high spirit upbeat tracks however. She brings you to a blue jazz lounge and shows you what a good time means there too. Recording "Sarahnade" as a live version is a brilliant idea. The "noise" behind contributes to its liveliness, the piano compliments her voice. "Only You" is another cover track that Hamilton delivers in today's sound. Great background chorus and backup enforces Shelley's deep and full voice.

You have to give the "Feeling Good Outro" a good listen. Shelley takes a very soulful song and makes it her own.

Quote of the Album: "From here to Japan, or whatever land..."
Longevity: This doesn't sound like a debut album at all. The amount of details put into it will keep you listening for more. Go get it and start "Feeling good".
