Shelley Turzewski and Andrea Dantus

BandPopSinger/Songwriter

We write our own songs, we write about everything, music is our first true love, and we've been described as sounding like the soundtrack of a romantic comedy.

Biography

We're 16 and making the most out of life.
We're best friends.
We love playing guitar, singing, and nothing else.
We like pie.
We consider a dog our greatest influence.
We want to be heard.
We want to be remembered.
We just want to make music.

Lyrics

Across the Sea

Written By: Shelley Turzewski

I finally came up from underwater
but just one word could make me jump and dive back in
As soon as i'm out i turn around and stick my toes in once again

I told myself i could resist it
i've already got someone else to pull me out of this
but it only takes one of those empty smiles to remind me of who i really miss

I'm jumping head first into the ocean
the water is high and i'm sinking now
My feet like rocks on the bottom,
there's a lifeguard calling for me and he's reaching out
but i'll let go for a while, until i'm not in so deep
i'll make it back to you as soon as i make it across
across the sea

We were young and so senseless
and we know we made some hard to fix mistakes
but after all, i took the fall and i still want you to take me away

I'm jumping head first into the ocean
the water is high and i'm sinking now
My feet like rocks on the bottom,
there's a lifeguard calling for me and he's reaching out
but i'll let go for a while, until i'm not in so deep
i'll make it back to you as soon as i make it across
across the sea

I'm almost to the shore and i turn around and go back for more
i always wish myself back to how it was before
before the tide rushed in

I'm jumping head first into the ocean
the water is high and i'm sinking now
My feet like rocks on the bottom,
there's a lifeguard calling for me and he's reaching out
but i'll let go for a while, until i'm not in so deep
i'll make it back to you as soon as i make it across
across the sea
