Shelly Ross formally known as "Empress Oshun"– songwriter/recording artist was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, raised in Toronto and now based in Vancouver, Canada. Shelly working with producer - producedbyJProduct brings you smooth and soulful positive vibes R&B Soul Pop - "I believe that the power of music can send universally understood positive vibration and heal many".
Featured on HOT 97 Who’s Next, Make a Move Magazine, Showcase Magazine, Grand Hustle Vol.3, Poze Radio and in early 2016 a winner of Best R&B song award for her song entitled “Tell Me” given by Poze Records/Productions sponsored by Doug E. Fresh.
In December 2016, Shelly Ross signed with the independent music label Bentley Records based in NYC. Summer of 2017 she released her anticipated 5 track EP EVOLVE. After completion and growth from that experience, she has now moved forward on her own as Shelly Ross Music – Songwriter Recording Artist. Her focus is creating music that inspires - with openness towards sync-licensing music opportunities within the film and television industry.
