Biography

All College Lifestyles (TM) programs are developed by Shelly A Marie, MS, RD, LDN.

Shelly Marie, MS, RD, LDN combines her educational knowledge as a registered dietitian, as well as her practical knowledge of counseling disordered eating and poor self-image clients. Her programs combine examples based on her own college life, sorority experiences, and clients with practical teaching/psychological practice learned from her master’s degree in nutrition. Shelly follows the positive approach of nutrition and image program.

There'a a bit of a twist though! You will notice a huge accent in her talks! Born and raised in the Deep South, Shelly exhibits a modern presentation style reflective of her Southern upbringing. This sorority alum's Southern classiness and graciousness shine through as she uses her professional experiences as a registered dietitian, etiquette consultant, and sports nutrition expert; along with her personal experiences reflecting stories of dating and dining etiquette, as well as residence hall and sorority life. Shelly combines her loves—Southern food, nutrition, dance, and etiquette—into fun-filled presentations that have crowds laughing, learning, and moving!

She developed College Lifestyles™ and is on a mission to educate all co-eds on:
(1) Healthy lifestyle and body image.
(2) Eating to sizzle! (Foods to improve mood, concentration, smarts, and skin health)
(3) Eating disorder prevention.
(4) Dressing to flatter all shapes and sizes - whether tall, short (like its creator!), full figured, or short waisted.
(5) Discovering our individual style to shine like the pearl!
(6) Etiquette to survive in the real world!
