A multi-talented, MC/songwriter/ engineer who possesses the style of a gangster and demeanor of a gentleman with a straightforward and charming swagger. Keenan Nathaniel Highgate was born and raised in Toronto, but never really had a place to call home. At the age of 7, he finally felt some stability when his mother & brother moved to Thirteenth Street & Lakeshore Blvd W. There he found all the elements he was missing before, and music developments began underway. Without a dominate father figure, and his mother stuck with no support, he began writing his feelings and experiences on notebooks.Through this great discovery, he started practising and began recording at different studios, at all hours of the day. Keenan didn't stop there, he also did a lot of net-working and collaborated with other great artists, and performed at many events.The influences around him really helped to develop and sculpt his charismatic, compelling and deep character. He also, is the founder of One Third, which is the community of Thirteenth Street( One Third get it 13!!) and Lakeshore Blvd west, which bears brotherhood and tight relations. Keenan, now 26, is still persistent and passionate about his work and is actively in the studio, building his portfolio, and performing at events.
