Raised in Los Angeles, Sheri (singer and songwriter) was deeply influenced by gospel and R&B. Rooted in her passion for music, she became an entertainer at heart at a very early age. Since then, her unique talent was recognized by her family who immediately provided the support and care a young singer required to blossom without restraint to the soulful voice she is today. For a short time, Sheri enrolled in the Voice Department at Orange County High School of the Arts where she continued to cultivate her natural talent. Soon after, she enrolled briefly in a series of training at a Hollywood academy to refine vocal skills and stage performance. Recently, she has experienced a positive and successful response to her dual talent in singing and songwriting. Her success had propelled her to embark on an independent tour through various notable clubs and performance venues in Los Angeles, including B.B. King’s at Universal City. Sheri had enjoyed success as a performer within her local sphere of influence, but she received her big break when she was discovered by a multi-Grammy award winning producer, Scott “Shavoni” Parker, at one of her performances. She hopes to expand her audience nationally and globally and is currently undergoing preparation to do so.
