Sheri Booth

Sheri Booth

A combination of warm velvet vocals accompanied by haunting melodies, poetic lyrics and rhythmic guitar.

Haunting melodies, captivating lyrics, combined with sweet acoustic guitar and soulful vocals best describes the talent of this singer/songwriter.
Sheri’s music and style portrays the struggles and victories of life, love and the journey to self-discovery. Sheri writes about her own life experience and takes the listener on a personal journey of the human condition.

Sheri’s early influences include: James Taylor, Carole King, Neil Young, Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks.

Sheri began performing professionally at age sixteen. She was born and raised in
Dallas, Texas, moved to Austin in the late 70’s, then to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1990
where she still resides. “I have a deep regard for this town and it’s artists.”

In 1978, Sheri was performing at the Bergstrom Air Force Base NCO club
alongside head liners such as, “Asleep At The Wheel” & “Cooter Brown”.
Sheri was also a featured artist on the Austin community College Television Show.

1990 brought a move to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she continued writing and
recording her own material. Sheri has preformed as a solo artist and has been
a member of, as well as, the founder of numerous bands throughout her career.

Sheri has opened for Ian Moore at the Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK as well as
Aaron Neville. Sheri also performed the award winning duet “You’re The Reason
God Made Oklahoma” with David Frizzell.
