[shift] are an Auckland four piece who have been building steam over the last few years, sharing the stage with the likes of J. Williams, The Earlybirds, State of Mind, The Black Dahlias and Sons of Zion. The boys are a hard working band, gigging throughout the city with their unique blend of big choruses and dynamic blues pop, combined with some alt-rock leanings.

This year has seen their sound honed and established, ready for new anthemic numbers like ‘Rain’ and their first single ‘Jerusalem’ that translate to the stage with great effect, the latter reaching number 1 on the nationwide radio station LifeFM.

[shift] bring a unique addition to the NZ music scene, fusing melody with punch. This not only makes for a compelling live show, but also songs that demand a listen long afterwards. This band is ready for the big things ahead.
