Shikobi Inc. formed in January 2014, with Australian brothers Aaron & Luke Hession writing songs in their Gold Coast garage. They rapidly moved from a garage band to the local stages with their intense performances quickly becoming noticed in the industry.
With a twist of fate Aaron & Luke decided to relocate to Los Angeles where drummer Casey Johnson and bassist Marco Barrientos, both residing in LA, joined the band to complete the line up in April 2015. Since then Shikobi Inc. have been mastering their craft and building a following in the U.S.
This is a band that truly lives and breathes music. Influenced by bands such as Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, 311, and Rage Against The Machine, Shikobi Inc. produce a hard & fast rocking sound that will get you on your feet. They combine funky and melodic rap & rock vocals with monster riffs to create a huge sound and energy – these guys are definitely a “live performing band” to see.
