Bio
A band of veteran musicians, Shine’s formation began in 2007 by the efforts of longtime friends, guitarist, Ed Winkler and bassist, Bill Hunt. They discovered vocalist, Rob Faber, with drummer, Jeff Counter soon following.
Shine injected the first dose of their hard rock and alternative energy, influenced by artists such as Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack and Papa Roach into the Omaha music scene in early 2008. They wrote and recorded while working out the material with live gigs, adding guitarist, Frank Elder in December 2008 to complete the sound.
Shine released their first full-length album in April 2009. From the first acoustic note of “Invisible”, to the hard driving riffs of “Torn” or “Bend and Break”, their chemistry of Shine is apparent.
