Born Nwafor Abuchi, Shinx FatCat is an independent rising Nigerian talent whose versatility is second to none. Having finished his university in Ghana and taking a wide range of influences from multiple genres like HipHop, Afrobeats, R&B and Dancehall, Shinx FatCat started his musical journey in 2012 and has put out 2 projects since then, one Joint Mixtape TTO 'Tha TakeOver' and a personal project 'Love N Trap EP'. But it was until 2018 that he became a fan favourite after the release of his hit single Purple Rain which was produced by Paris based french producer Mass Stabber. In the past few months Shinx FatCat has featured on UKs 89.6fm Afronation Show's Unsigned Artist (Winner), Gbedu.Live's 'GBEDU DSCVR CHALLENGE' (Finalist in HipHop and Dancehall categories) and weekly 'Fresh Find' playlist and SpeedPlug Promotion's 'Bars On Bars' show.

Shinx is currently working on a personal project titled 'Fat Pussy' which features Paybac Iboro, Abstrakt amongst other artists and is set to be released in 2021. His also working on a Joint Mixtape project with Dara Svuce , 'Cat Svuce' which features Headies nominee Paybac Iboro and is also set to be released in 2021.
