In the summer of 2003, Forrest Harding, former guitarist and founding member of the band Generic (now The Advantage) and Matthew Vrabel, drummer of many bands in the tri-state area, formed a duo called Shiny Object. They went on to play shows for a whole year before realizing their full potential with the joining of current member Joseph Strand, bass player from Chicago. The trio now plays regularly in the Milwaukee area.
