Bio
Based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Shipwreck I Promised began in August 2003 consisting of guitarist Mike Lavery and drummer Kelly Gabany. After writing an arsenal of songs, bassist Scott Collier and singer Joe Mack joined to complete the band. In October 2003 the band recorded a two track demo at Audioloft Studios in Ambridge, PA.
Joe Mack decided to leave the band in May 2004 to pursue other projects. However, the band gained another guitarist, Garrett Twardesky and found the singer they were looking for A Wish for Wings vocalist, Brandon Kolljeski.
In October 2004 the band parted ways with singer Brandon Kolljeski. November 2004 saw the return of the original Shipwreck line-up with Joe back in the fold.
Fast forward to March 2005, after over a year and a half in Shipwreck I Promised, Scott Collier moved on to focus on other endeavors. The band is currently auditioning bass players and will be back playing shows and recording new material in April 2005.
