SHO

Born and raised in the north side of Chicago, SHO is son to Christian raised Assyrians raised in a mostly Muslim country. In fact had his parents not have escaped from imprisonment in there homeland of Iraq in 1979 SHO aka Jon Rasho probably would be born in Baghdad. Nonetheless, in early October 1980 almost a year after his parents found refuge in Chicago Jon G. Rasho was born. Jon would watch his parents both work two jobs just to try to make a better life for him. As he grew older Jon would find his love for writing. As it was a way of relaxing for him from all the struggles of a low income household However as time got tougher Jon found himself in desperate need of living a better life than the one his parents and him lived. So following in footsteps of his older cousins, Jon turned to a live of hustling. Ultimately he would become one of the biggest hustlers in the north side of Chicago. Making money was all that mattered to Jon who now would be recognized in his hood as "SHO". After several near death experiences with the police and rival street hustlers, SHO decided to take a break from the street life and focused on writing songs and stories. Then in 2004 he was introduced to a local producer named Jonnyboy who had heard many stories about the hood legend they called SHO. After just one hour in Jonnyboys studio, the two would lay down there first track and the rest as they say is history. As Jonnyboy would find that the SHO was all he needed to get his music out to the masses. Fast forward to present where the SHO and Jonnyboy have taken each others talents to another level. With the production geniuses of Jonny and the street wise swagger of The SHO, hip-hop is truly ready for a full body make over!
