By the time Shoofly hit the stage, you could feel the whole building shaking from all of the people kickin' it. They played a very solid set, showing the crowd that the night was far from over! They displayed their diverse musical talent by switching instruments and exchanging melodic vocal parts. Bio
Shoofly has been playing since 1998 in Vancouver and has toured across Canada. They have played with many bands including "The Trews" and "Jazzberry Ram". They are influenced by bands like Cold Play, Pearl Jam, Franz Ferdinand, and of course the bands who influenced them like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and the Beatles.
Some songs create a sonic soundscape that takes the listener away, and sometimes it's just straight out rock and roll. The bass and drums lay down a solid rythm that keeps people moving. The band's vocals stand out with talented lead singing supported by great harmonies.
