Shooting Mary

Rodney started out about 3 years ago writing songs for a project called The Sketched after years of bad relationships and drug abuse. Coming out of the haze he started to realize everyone goes through these problems in one shape of form, but it seems like no one really wants to bring it out in the open. With his music and pain, he was able to bring emotion in feeling into the music, something that we believe has been lost in the music business. With these songs he teamed up with Darren and started working out some of these songs. We had a drummer from Rod's first band playing and the guy didn't even bring cymbals to rehersals so we got rid of him. In Febuary of 2005 Rodney bumped into Sam on a jobsite, and the shit really started to develop. The music really started to come together and feel right. Since that day we've wrote 13 songs and recorded a 6 song demo that we are proud of. Based out of Phoenix we have a loyal fan base and are slowly becoming a band to be reckoned with. Our live show is where the real magic happens. It's explosive and gripping.
