Bio

Shoreline is a Minneapolis based five piece alternative/rock group. It was formed in January of 2004, by Singer Sam Cassidy and Bass/Singer Kevin Larson. Kevin later recruited drummer and long time friend Chris Slanga to play drums for their newly untitled group. Through a mutual friend Kevin found Craig Vore, a guitarist from South Dakota. The line up was almost complete. After much anticipation for a second guitarist, Craig found Ashish Sharma, a guitarist from Milwaukee. With that Shoreline was formed.
Seven months after the release of there 2004 single “I’ll call my people”, Shoreline released there much anticipated EP titled “Live by these words…”. A distinctive mix of 90’s alternative and modern indie rock with slight punk tones, it was a hit amongst their fans. A montage of upbeat and aggressive songs with soft expressive ballads, this EP is the corner stone for Shoreline’s artistic expansion.
Shoreline has played a variety of venues including an acoustic set at The Segue Café and the Lee Leukemia Benefit at McNally Smith School of music, The MAC, University of Minnesota’s The Whole and the Spring Jam festival, Star Central, as well as numerous appearances in the Ascot Room at the Quest Club. You can also catch Shoreline on the 2005 Van's WARPED TOUR, covering two dates Chicago and Minneapolis.
Shoreline deviates from the norm of today’s rock. Excluding themselves from today’s post-hardcore bands and experimental groups Shoreline attempts to develop a new sound and their ever increasing fan base is a result of their unmatched style and stage presence.
