Will the good albums of 2008 ever stop coming? I surely hope not. This is another one of those new artists that I found and now I’m living on Myspace and Purevolume just listening to this band from Dallas, TX. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Shorelines End.

Shorelines End plays soft modern rock with an acoustic foundation and singer Patrick Alan has a voice just made for this kind of music. From the starter Violet to the closer Best for Last you are treated to a nice musical journey in the same area as The Rising, Lifehouse and Acceptance. The type of music on here is perfect for just hanging out around the house and chilling on a summer day, or on a fall day, or any day really. Or why not put this CD in the car stereo? It sounds perfect for any ride and destination. Someone said that this is romantic modern rock and I guess that is a proper description for it.

I already mentioned Violet, but there are more really good songs on here. Surface is a great one with a marvelous chorus that sticks in your head immediately. More Then You Know is another good one. The best song however, is the brilliant I Will Follow, which builds up from a single guitar to a full band ballad with beautiful vocal harmonies and arrangements. That song is one of the best songs I have heard this year! Other strong tracks are You’re the One and the up-tempo song Maybe Tonight.

Overall this is a very good album, it is released independently by the band and I really believe that this album will get them signed to a major label. It really should. If you like the bands mentioned above along with Boyce Avenue and Brian Melo this is a safe buy! I’m already singing I will follooooooow…

These are the words I would like to say to you: Good work guys!

"Alternative Addiction TOP 20!"

SE was added to Alternative Addictions Top 20! This is a pretty popular website and hard to get added to, because they pride themselves on only featuring the "best signed and up coming bands" in the nation. A lot of Labels look at this website for "buzz" bands and many have been signed as a result of being featured and charting....As you will see, we are right along side some big bands with proven track records...so this is a great indication of what's to come. Our single "Surface" was recently placed on the FMQB "The End of Summer 2008" Rock & SubModern Rock Sampler CDs, which was serviced to hosts across the country. And it's officially "Available For Airplay" on the FMQB website on both the Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock formats. SE is definitely on the industry "radar" and we are currently in talks with several Major labels...due in part to Mike Bacon (Sr. Director at FMQB) featuring our single "Surface" on both CDs, along side bands such as: Saving Abel (Virgin Records), Drowning Pool (Eleven Seven Records), Scary Kids Scaring Kids (RCA Records), All That Remains (Razor & Tie Records), Dragonforce (Roadrunner Records) and many more.
