Shotgun Babies

Shotgun Babies are born in spring 2006. Two sisters, Elena (drums) and Cristina (guitars and vocals, ex singer of Nahema), decide to create an all girl band, but this idea seems to be an utopia. A first line-up takes its form with Gianluigi (already member of Black Rose), as a bassist.
In 2007 Elena and Gianluigi leave the band. A second line-up starts to exist (it will be complete only in march 2008) with Tony as a guitarist, Marco as a drummer (both active in the 90's bands Oversize and Meatfield) and Gianna as a bassist, whose experiences go from punk to surf (in this occasion as a drummer), from jazz to electronic music.
In autumn 2007, as well, Andrea Federico's Out Cinema decides to realize their first videoclip, "Paralyze", single later shown on different websites and transmitted by radio several times (Radio Studio Smile, for a week, Radio Manbassa and so on).
Shotgun Babies perform almost totally their songs and in less than a year of lives collect a lot of concerts, with apulian and non-apulian bands (in april 2008 they follow Kyuuri from Reggio Emilia in their apulian tour).
They also collect many interviews and partecipate to radio programs such as “Rise Of A Band”, “Radio For Myspacers”, “Radio TV Elle”.
In June 2008 they realize "Destroy Your Beauty", suddenly appreciated on web by american users...
In september of the same year they win Rock Bad Girlz contest.
On 20th october they're selected for "Rock With Mascara" inside "Feedback" transmission (on Radio Lupo Solitario), which sees Roipnol Witch as speakers. Later they're on "Rock With Mascara" section again, on K-Rock radio (Reggio Emilia).
Press about them: not only local newspapers but also national ones, like "What's Up" magazine, in november 2008.
