SHOTGUN BLONDE

The heart and soul of SHOTGUN BLONDE is in the words and life experiences of front man Nick Ryan. Brought up in the small country town of Bowral, Sydney Australia and studying in Goulbourn also in Sydney Australia, Nick was able to touch, smell and see the very bottom of the barrel of what is a hard and unfair life. SHOTGUN BLONDE's dark and bleak lyrics are masked by the upbeat and danced up feel of synthesizers and catchy rhythms.

SHOTGUN BLONDE started as a 3 piece band back in 2004 with Nick, Steak and Anthony. The guys musical interests and their thirst for originality led them to search for extra members. Well over 20 guitarists came and went until the guys finally found some spirit in Chris Beville. Tragically Chris died in a car accident in 2008 and once again left SHOTGUN BLONDE stranded. They finally got a hold of Ron Prince who is now a solid member of the group.

It's been a long road of ups and downs playing in front of 2 people at a local pub on a Wednesday night to playing in front of over 5000 at musical festivals all over Australia. SHOTGUN BLONDE know about the obstacles and hardships of the music industry and are moving forward everyday never letting anything get in there way from getting the name SHOTGUN BLONDE in the airwaves of all radio stations around the world.
