The once INSTRUMENTAL band has went a little more mainstream to attract even more than they already have. The singer known as Chuck Shaffer will grace the microphone this upcoming album. Some bands are created for the attention, some are formed with hopes and dreams to make it to the big leagues. Then, you have a unique band, a rarity, a group of high caliber musicians who want nothing more than to simply channel their talents through their instruments and develop smiles on nameless faces.
Enter SHOTGUN FUNGUS, a strange name with serious results. We all were part of different musical backgrounds, whether it was semi-professional to basement rockers. As we grew older with each other, telling stories about our experiences, we discovered the connection we had as friends and what could possibly be in store for us as a group. We searched for a singer but found ourselves diving deeper and deeper into the melodies and transitions of our songs. It was 10 songs later when the birth of a great Rock Instrumental was formed.
We are Shotgun Fungus, formed by Patrick Lane and Co-founders Brian Morgan, Shane Pompoco and Steve Weisen. These gentlemen bring a barrage of musical entanglements to tailor custom tone in your ear. Hard Rock, Metal, Jazz, Funk...and a little cup of love. Good Music, Big Hearts and Great Attitudes.
