Bio

Show (Roy Studmire) was born on Feb 11 1987 to a loving mother by the name of Barbara Shaw. He grew up with a sister and two brothers but was the only one with many musically inclined talents. Roy started playing the drums at the age of 7 and slowly worked his way around 2 other instruments such as, piano, bass etc.. Both older brothers rapped and he really looked up to that not knowing what he'd be capable of in the future. By the age of 13 he was enrolled into the Boston Arts Academy for being a percussionist. There he studied his choice instrument while learning music theory and the basics of studio production. The school was full of wanna be rappers so everyday a freestyle battle would break out during lunch or after school. This is where Roys skills really kicked in always being known to stop the show when it counted most. By the age of 16 he started working on projects with artists such as Lu Armstrong and the Hitmakers. Shortly after starting the Berklee Music summer program he rapidly picked up engineering and started to work at local studios such as, Surefire, Baker House, and Hit Factory. At that time he met the fellas from Face Music and with them worked on Hip-Hop production projects. Show always did his own thing but kept a strong and family like tie with the Face team. They built a studio called 1486 and started woking with each other to grow an empire. In a moment Show sat down and really knew he was born to be an Hip-Hop artist. He moved out to California to try and pursue his dream guessing it was the right time since an agent in the industry expressed a strong interest in signing. Some details didn't mesh so Show returned to Boston to work with Face Music and they began doing what they do best creating music. Soon after Show moved to Atlanta where he signed with and indi label D.E.G music. Now most of Shows effort is put into engineering at Hit Quarters in Boston to produce albums soon to release. All while seeking a joint venture with Face Music by attending a few shows on a late summer tour promoting new projects. Show will open for chart stomping Plies and Haystack on August 23rd with Face Music together they will take the world by storm.
