Show Tufli

Anthony Hunter a.k.a Show TuFli is a hip-hop performer raised in Harlem, N.Y. Show has been performing in front of audiences since age nine and has taken that passion for performing and transformed it into a hip-hop career. Rapping since age 13, Show has honed his skills to perfection, and was discovered in 2006 by Interscope artist Charles Hamilton, through Myspace.com.
While attending FDA High School in the winter of 2007, Show suffered a life threatening stroke that rendered him hospitalized for 2 months. This caused him to have to learn all of the basic motor skills that we take for granted, all over again. While hospitalized, Show has said that he literally spoke to God and that he was granted another chance to make something of himself. Later the next year, Show, determined not to let his handicap derail his dreams, Show finished attending High School and graduated on time with a 3.0 grade average.
With his life back on track, Show is determined to make his dreams come true. Not taking another day for granted, he started performing across the U.S alongside Charles Hamilton, and even performed live on The Carson Daly Show.
With eight solo projects under his belt, produced by many up and coming producers like WoodysProduce, Sha-Liek, ThirdletterC and Hittman, as well as various features on projects by Charles Hamilton as well as Demevolist Music Group. Show is currently working on his first full length album, aptly titled ReversePsychology, which is scheduled for a 2011 release through his independent management company A clasSick Show.
Show intends to transmit his style of music to the masses and does not like to consider himself fond of any genre of music. You can expect to hear infusions form every aspect, from techno punk to R&B hip-hop. When asked do you consider yourself a rapper, Show quickly responds, “ Growing up, I used to only listen to R&B, you know, Shai, Boys2Men, Color Me Badd, and I would love to work with John Mayer, so do I consider myself a rapper, No, but I am a music vessel whose lyrics rhyme, so I would say I’m a hip-hopper that can rap”.
