SHU

Shu have traveled the East Coast of these great United States since the early 1990's. They are one of a handful of experimental genre-crossing bands that have played the college circuit in that time.

After a three years hiatus the band reformed in 2000. The band's third album was recorded at that time and a new energy brought Shu to the stage once again.

Since that time Shu have expanded their sound with an even broader view of music, and what it can be. The band plays regionally on a steady schedule and expects to hit the studio again in the coming months. Their earlier recordings have been reissued with the launch of Shu's own homegrown record label, GFR Records.

Shu is... wild improvisation, funk, ska, pop hooks, dance beats, and deep space moods. Shu rocks.
