SICADIS Putting Finishing Touches On Debut EP - Nov. 28, 2006
Kansas City, Missouri-based metal band SICADIS is putting the finishing touches on its first EP with producer Ivan Moody (lead singer of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, MOTOGRATER, and GHOST MACHINE). An early 2007 release is expected.

SICADIS-(Si-Kay-Diss)-inspired by the insect the cicada. Cicadas are accepted as the loudest sound-producing insects in the world. They stay underground for over 17 years only to surface, to mate, and to make sounds for the season before DEATH. That is the philosophy behind the band, to stay underground, to surface out of the larvae stage to metamorphosis, to unleash its potential, and to fulfill its destiny.... Combining the forces of Cam Fitzmaurice, Andrew Nagorski, Aaron Henges, Derek Thompson, and Russ Edgar, all veterans of the KCMO metal scene.
