2004: "yours for the taking" album released
"bhangre" single off the album, had video play on local Indian and non-indian prgramming as well as Much more music, BPM tv, Razer channel and AVS, (a show based in new york but syndicated all over the world). Also aired in India and surrounding areas on MTV India, Channel V, ETC Punjabi, Alpha Punjabi and B4U (which is syndicated in the UK).
Several songs from the album are played on CBC radio and Red 93.1 Fm
2007: "signiatures" release set for may '07

Bio
Signia was formed in 2000 by the lead singers of the band San-J and LV. Since then the duo has grown to an eight person band and has evloved to what they are today, the following is what they live by:
We do what we do because we love it and are passionate for it. We are Signia. We are different because we are not anybody else, if we were, we wouldn't be us we would be them. Fusing sounds and cultures together is not what we are trying to do, that happened the minute our parents moved to Canada and before that when our grandparents moved to England, and Singapore (and really took place in the 80's during the UK bhangra revolution). In our opinion the glue that is apparently fusing the different genres of music together in the world has already been applied and is holding very well!
FUSION? To us it sounds like something that is forced, something that must be brought together by external forces. Our music is how it is when it is conceived; when it is larger than life as an electric shock in our brains. There is no force required to make our music sound as it does, the sound flows easily and effortlessly like it should.
We live in Vancouver, make Canadian music, and currently sing our lyrics in Punjabi and English because we feel like it and we can. We love the sound of the dhol, we love bass, we love a killer beat we love music.
We are ever-evolving... thus, Signia is not just bhangra music, it is an expression of who we are at this time in our lives. Music is music; make me dance, make me sing, make me cry, make me feel, any language, any sound, all day everyday.
Signia is feel good music!
