Silent Devices

Built around the musical musings of guitarist Charles Addison, singer Josh Coyne, drummer Alex Bowers and bassist Scott Dillon, Leicester’s Silent Devices are band made for the festival’s main stages.
On record this 4 piece create movements of sound, rarely falling under the 5 minute mark, but it is on stage that their presence is truly spell binding. For that reason alone it is easy to understand, why, without readily releasing a record, Silent Devices have already amassed many a fan with their soaring sonic soundscapes. Recently named as Radio 1 DJ Bethan Elfyn's 'Unsigned Artist Of The Day', the band have gone from strength to strength gaining praise and recognition from BBC 6 Music’s, Tom Robinson, Amazing Radio DJ's, Charlie Ashcroft, Matt Jamison and Mark Ryan and Drowned in Sound….'they sent shivering tingles up our collective spines'….
Having already supported the likes of 'The Rumble Strips', ‘Wet Paint’, 'And So I Watch You From Afar', '65daysofstatic', ‘Animal Kingdom’ , 'She Keeps Bees', and God Is An Astronaut’ and played on the BBC Introducing stages at ‘Y Not & Headstock Festival’ and the Drowned in Sound stage at Summer Sundae Weekender, Silent Devices continue to hone their craft on the stage through 2011 and well into 2012 supported by the release of the double a-side single, ‘Una’ / ‘Moire’ , their debut release with CRC Music in January 2012.
