silent giants

This is basically musical CPR for me. I felt stuck by always participating in bands that seemingly went nowhere. There was always potential in those groups, but never the drive. So, in turn, I decided to experiment a bit and lay down some songs I had been working on over my years of hiking the National Parks and road-trippin' across the U.S.
The name itself is basically talking about where I made the most music- in the mountains and canyons of this fine country. It was also put there in attempts to erase that horrible hubris associated with being a singer/songwriter. I don't want to BE the music, I just want to make it and have you all enjoy it with me. So I figure, give it a name, put mine and whoever else's in small text close-by, and keep on truckin'. There's still a "Hiring" sign on the window of the store, so more musicians are needed to fulfill the sound.
After performing for buses, trains, campsites, airports, backyards, basements, parties, friends, freaks, family, and no one at all I figure it's time to start putting some of my stuff online and hoping to reach some more people that might be able to relate while tapping their toe to it.
The full story itself about this project lies in too many years of turbulent travel and there just ain't enough time to explain it all. That's where the music comes into play. That's the timeline, I'd say. That's Silent Giants.
