Silent on Bordeaux brings together four very different passions for the same ultimate end - the music we make.
Drummer Justin Cox is a journeyman nice guy who can rig up anything that we need for our band mostly with what he already has lying around. It's his resourcefulness as a musician that consistently brings together and completes the music that we write. Lead guitarist Ben Gibson has been all business about his love for playing since he first picked up a guitar. His drive is what keeps the band driven and focused and is also the source of the music in every meticulously put together song. Our singer and bassist Jeff Gunter is the musician equivalent of a gym rat. His passion for music is transcendent, with a genuine desire to do something magnificent with it in any and all of its forms. His distinct voice is what makes a Silent on Bordeaux song uniquely it’s own. Dave Meyer on rhythm guitar brings something to this band it has never been able to have before. His unique playing style and musical tastes give the band the extra hint of flavor it was looking for.
Over the several years of this bands existence we have had the opportunity to share the stage with several large touring bands such as: Fair to Midland, The Ataris, Halifax, He is Legend, As Cities Burn, Oh Sleeper, Mae, and several others. We pride ourselves about our stage show, and have the equipment to match. In the next few months Silent on Bordeaux will be working with Six Flags and Hot Topic, stay tuned for more information on that
