About Silent Partners
Silent Partners was formed by singer/songwriters Ian Cook and Knud Osterbye after a decade of writing songs together with their band.

Their songs have been played on Danish national radio, as well as several European radio stations, and they have performed live at famous Cavern Club in Liverpool and Danish venue Lille Vega to mention a few.

After 10 years of live performances they decided to continue their efforts under the name Silent Partners, focusing solely on the songwriting and production.

Silent Partners is always on the lookout for possible business partners, so if you are a singer, band, publisher or record label in need of a song, feel free to contact us.

Also, if you are singer who would like to gain some studio experience by performing on our demos, do not hesitate to contact us.

Lyrics

Heaven knows what

Written By: Ian Cook

Heaven knows what it's like to be afraid
heaven knows but heaven doesn't care at all
I think I know what it's like to be afraid
I think I know cos I've been there

it's you I'm thinking of
you're on my mind
I thought you were gone
you made me blind
I'm out on the street
I feel the pain

heaven knows if the point of life is made
heaven knows - how many people care at all?
I think I know what the meaning is for me
I think I know ‘cos I've been there

it's you I'm thinking of
you're on my mind
I thought you were gone
you made me blind
I'm out on the street
I feel the pain

come on, come on, come on be my baby
come on, come on, come on pretty lady…

Take a look at me now

Written By: Ian Cook

I don't even know your name
now you're gone
as a matter of a fact
I'm not looking back to you
now you're gone away

I don't even want to cry
now you're gone
as a matter of a fact
I'm not even going to say
you went wrong today

so take a look at me now
there´s a better man in me
take a look at me now

I wish you would come again
I was wrong
as a matter of a fact
I'm still looking back to you
now you’re gone away

so take a look at me now...

It's all right

Written By: Ian Cook

’Cos every time I look at you
I think of all the things
that we are gonna do - and it's all right.
but will your boyfriend start a fight?
I know you try to stop yourself
but deep inside you know what
we are gonna do – and it's all right
I mean this can't go on

Break up, break up, break up
let's stop wasting time
there's so many things
that I wanna to show to you.
break up, break up, break up
let's just say you're mine
from the very start
there was no doubt in my mind

Now the time has come for me
to re-evaluate the chance of vacancy
- and it's all right
’cos I don't think you'll sway tonight
but then again, I cannot see
I can't believe that you would walk
away from me - and it's all right
I mean this can't go on

Break up, break up...
