Rising has been a band almost nine years, but a lot has
changed since their debut full length Promises. They have a new vocalist, a brand new sound, and a totally different view on things. It's not easy to peg what
these guys sound like. They've always stand out at live shows for being so diverse. With jazz, funk, hip hop, folk, and pop roots these guys finally feel that they have nurtured an organic sound that is Silhouette Rising.
It hasn't been easy. Over the past nine years the band
has faced crowd skepticism, car accidents, state boundaries, internal disputes, and the loss of members....many members They have also bordered the key to fame on several occasions. Through the years
the band has worked closely with Warner Records reps, Envy on the Coast and Escape the Fate's sound guy, Ryan John, producer Joe Laquidara (Boston, Aerosmith), Atomic Tom, Neon Trees, American Idol, Hip Video, and Adult Swim's David Liebe Hart.
It's a new beginning and the band couldn't feel more
