Bio
All bands have a story and theirs is one that will be told in full one day. From feeling trapped and unable to express themselves the band came together as one two years ago in 2009.
Wolverhampton’s Silhouettes were formed by Nathan Till and his brother in law Jason Cuthill who were joined by friends Ben Blewitt (Keyboards) and Dan Batchelor (Bass). In November 2010 the band completed their debut EP “Paint me as you see me”, described as ‘dynamic, dark, euphoric and brooding’. Amongst the battle to be heard, the band have now begun the difficult task of shouting louder and hoping someone listens.
With freedom to express how they truly feel, Silhouettes write songs that aim for the heart of the listener: contrasting real emotion and a search for beauty, with innovation and fusion of styles. Their songs convey a disenchanted – yet hopeful and celebratory – outlook on life and the future.
