Prince, Michael Jackson,David Bowie,George Michael, and Madonna...these were the artists Felix Love was first introduced to as a child. Naturally, he developed an affinity for glamorous pop music. 'Silk Jamz' is the manifestation of Loves' long held musical tastes, interests, and philosophies. Although Loves' music could be described at a foundational level as 'pop', it is undeniably multifaceted in its influences which contributes to its particular and unique charm. With hints of Michael Jackson and Prince in his voice, Love packs a soulful and sultry punch in his vocal delivery. Musically, Silk Jamz blends new wave, electro, soul, funk, and even glam rock music to cultivate a sound at once retro and nostalgic, yet also new, fun, fresh, and excitingly unique.
