Silveira

When friends Cameron Grant, Mat Thomas and Byron Gear teamed up with Dan Lechmere to complete Brisbane based "Silveira", a new sound dripping with world domination was birthed. Rising from the depths of hardcore riffs and double-kicks, while keeping a fresh, melodic and lyrical genre usually kept aside for the "big guns”; Silveira have created a musical drop of pop-rock coated honey for the ears.

With lyrics profound enough to intrigue any span of generations and themes rich with morsels of hope and love and a commitment to friendship, Silveira are bringing back an ideology of positivity that has often been lacking from the music scene, or hidden so deep under metaphors too abstract to ever figure out. Silveira don't sugar-coat their message, it’s out there and easy to understand; that there is more to life, that there is always someone to care, that friendship is a doing word, and that hope exists.

Recently the band went down to Sydney where they recorded their first single. Produced by Shane Edwards and mastered by Sony, the quality of the record is top grade and will be a feature at all upcoming Silveira events.

An EP is underway for the hardworking guys, and should be due for release later in 2010.
