Silver Ruin, a new force in modern rock music. The band formed in early October 2003, with all members from LA/Orange County. The music has been described by audiences as, "powerful," "fresh," "very marketable," "stays with you," and "easily up there with bands like Three Doors Down, Audioslave, Evanescence, and Trapt, yet very original." Silver Ruin can be seen and heard, at popular venues such as The House of Blues, The Boogie, as well as other clubs in LA and Orange County. "We try to think up songs that can hold up to an arena type venue," says guitar player Karl. "Our songs reflect real life stories, situations, and relationships," adds vocalist Rob.
Silver Ruin has just released their self titled EP in December 2005. Cameron Webb, co-produced the EP along with Silver Ruin. The band feels very fortunate to have worked with such a high profile producer, who has worked with top acts such as Social Distortion, Kelly Clarkson, Godsmack, and Silverstein to name a few. "We lucked out big time," says Rob and Karl.
