RE: Recommendation for "SILVER SPOON"
On May 9, 2009, the West District of Salt Lake City's H&R Block had their year-end party to honor certain employees and to celebrate the end to another great tax season. When Brian Ashcraft, District Manager, was looking to hire a band to play Jazz music during the dinner and celebration, he was advised to hire Silver Spoon, which he did. As one of the Office Mangers present at the event, I would like to give my personal and professional recommendation for this band.
The band was on-time, professional, and courteous. They played excellently and the overall opinion of those present at the event was extremely positive. Everyone enjoyed them. They did not play too loud and their music was in good taste.
I would like to add a personal recommendation also. I have known the members of Silver Spoon for over 4 years and have heard them play a variety of music - and all of it has sounded fantastic. I have found the members to be honest, reliable, very hard working, consciences, and courteous.

We recently hired the band Silver Spoon and were very pleased with their performance. They were flexible with their schedule and easy to work with. All members of the band were professional and friendly.
The performance from Silver Spoon was wonderful. They did a fantastic job playing background music for our event and when everyone was finished eating they ended with some vocals of some popular hits. Everyone was pleased with their routine.

In December 2008, Harland Clarke held an End of the Year Celebration, hosting nearly 700 attendees. Carey Drisdom and his band performed at this event, held at the Salt Palace in downtown Salt Lake City. We found Carey and his band to be professional and pleasant to work with and received very positive feedback on the performance. He was able to give us detailed information on the song choices, perform within the agreed upon time frame and tailor the selections to a large corporate event. We would be pleased to work with Carey and his band at future events.

These artists include, but are not limited to, Omarion (r&b), Charley Jenkins (Country), Jeff Dodd (new age bass), Norris Garner and Isaiah Thomas (gospel), Chaz (r&b, gospel, theatre), Merrill Osmond, opening for Blind Boys of Alabama, and much more.

Silver Spoon, a dynamic and diverse group of men who are located in Salt Lake City, UT are composed of 4 gentlemen, Carey Drisdom (Vocals & Bass), Russ Hodges (Bass), Tim Drisdom (Keys), and Mark Harris (Drums & Vocals). When desired Silver Spoon adds a horn arrangement which consists of two amazing players, Josh Frances (Trumpet) and Joe Rudd (sax).
These gentlemen have each had opportunities to play with major recording artists who are known all over the world.
