WHO IS SIMBA ?
SIMBA a very intelligent hip hop artist from a Portuguese speaking country (MOZAMBIQUE), learnt ingles watching movies and cartoons. Today he takes advantage of the universal language to communicate with the world about his beliefs.

For years and years Africa as been pointed as the darkest place on earth full of ugly scars , marked by the slavery ,cursed by all kinds of diseases, non cense wars, that lead a lot of young kids to the battle fields, blinded by several Cultures, that make us proud to be ignorant; Blaming other people for the mistakes that we commit. Well… there are two sides to every story. There’s also a good Africa, the Africa that SIMBA represents, a Africa that’s not afraid of peace ,a Africa that believes that education is the key to a good development, a Africa with no racism, a beautiful Africa that every body want to know. So let SIMBA take you into a journey… a journey that is going to blow you away, with a mix of jazz, Afro beat, hip hop and funk. Breaking all the boundaries. Through h is music he speaks about is country with 16 years of peace and democracy allowing young people to follow their dreams.
You can’t deny a good idea, yes, SIMBA is that good idea, the good idea easy to remember, easy to attract, and to convince people how appreciate good music .this hip hop artist how is birth name is: NELSON SITOI ,was born in MAPUTO(MOCAMBIQUE)SOUTHERN AFRICA on 21 of OCTOBER 1980
Is love for hip hop started in early 90’s, listen to arts like: DE LA SOUL, COMMON, TRYBE CALLEB QUEST and more. The art that combines words with Redeem and break beats, was beginning to take place on this boy’s life, living a space for SIMBA to draw is on destine. So he began to rhyme at age 13.
From this point onward, this young rapper thirst could not be satisfied, and is dream of innovation the local hip hop industry could not be stopped .he released his first single called : glorious food .so 5 years after, he realised is first album RUN AND TELL YOU MATHER ,a mix of rap ,jazz and soul, where he worked alongside big produce like :IKO and PAPPERCUTT.
To promote the album he recorded the video for LOVELY DAY ,which had a major impact on AFRICAN people , due to the creativity ,innovation and the positive message deliver .So he was nominated for 2 categories, on the awards, of the best music channels in AFRICA, CHANNEL O.
SIMBA is the only privileged hip hop arts how gets to perform in the most biggest festival of MOZAMBIQUE, MOZAMBIQUE JAZZ FESTIVAL.
He Had the opportunity to working with MOREIRA CHONGUICA, the award winner for best jazz producer on SAMA award, a collaboration that gave birth to a song called boarding time which is the first song on MOREIRA’S second album .A CD that feature huge names lake: the American award winner NAJEE, JACO MARIA and the legendary MANU DIBANGO the most recognise talent in AFRICA.
This talented man as achieve a lot. Today he runs a record company called :BROWN records.
He is working with FDC and BRITISH COUSIL in seashell projects .
He is a music producer.
He writes lyrics for other artist.(ghost writer)

WHO IS SIMBA AND THE BROWN BAND?
They are a 5-piece live band (four guys, one lady) from the inner city of Maputo,(Mozambique) who share the same ideals. They are the first and only hip hop live band in MOZAMBIQUE! One Mc and the band, work well together; resulting in a good final product that can be listened to over and over again. SIMBA AND THE BROWN BAND educate, elevate and entertain both young and the old, they pay tribute to their legacy and heritage and chants of the future.
