I'm Sorry Now

Written By: Simen Aanerud

I'm sorry now
Yes I'm sorry now
There was nothing else
We could do
We could do

Now, may it ease your pain
That he's better now
Come hold his hand
And see the smile
That he left behind

Now don't you cry
Don't you lose it now
She will need someone
To be strong
To be strong

In her worried eyes
I see the prayer for a miracle
I take her hand in mine
And whisper the words
That our Hope is gone

I'm sorry now
Yes I'm sorry now
The Doctor told me there
Was nothing to do
To do

Now look at me
Darling, look at me
I will not let you fall
Cause it's is not the end
This is not your end

Come hold his hand
His tears are dried and gone
He left us with his smile
And I know, yes I know
We'll meet again
