THE MUSIC OF SIMON JEWELL HAS PASSION IN HIS LYRICS BACKED UP WITH FANTASTIC VOCALS, EXCELLENT STUFF.
FALLEN CURTAIN - Very strong vocals in this tune, a nice laid back song with great lyrics great potential in this one.
REFLECTIONS - A good rhythm gutair compliments the vocals very well, a lot of passion in the lyrics vocal sounds excellent.

First to support was a singer songwriter named Simon Jewell. His blend of accoustic songwriting mixed with a soulfull yet powerful voice certainley got the night going. His standout track "burned" was definately a high point of the night and this reviewer was left lingering for more. Definately a sign the singer songwriter buzz in Dublin is still alive.

After two years extensive gigging including playing in venues such as Whelans, The Village, Crawdaddy & also an irish tour, Simon began work on his Debut EP with Krecording's Andy Knightley who has credited his name to Bell x1, Sinead O'Connor & Damien Dempsey, to name a few. A Track from his Upcoming EP is also featured on the compilation CD entitled "Samhain" and has been played by Ryan Tubbridy on RTE Radio 1.
Simon is gigging extensively in the build up to release of his EP. Including support slots in Whelans, Debarra (clonakilty) and The Roisin Dubh in Galway. Playing support to acts such as The Chapters, Vesta Varro, Vyvienne Long & Ã?se.
The future is bright for this young singer songwriter..
