Bio

In September 2006, Simon Moore traveled to LA and recorded his debut album "Twenty Five Hour Day" in Elliott Smith's old studio, New Monkey. Produced by Fritz Michaud (Elliott Smith/Great Northern/Autolux), the album was released in March 2007, and has since enjoyed high rotation on college radio in the US and plays on French, Canadian and Finnish airwaves. The video clip for Simon’s first single "The Army of the Soldier Crabs" has been featured in rotation on Rage, and was a finalist in the inaugural Portable Film Festival.

Since returning to Australia and releasing the album, the band has expanded- now featuring Elliot Willcocks on drums, Quinn Stacpoole on keys/guitar/accordion and May Eshraghi on bass.

Since forming as a solid line-up, Twenty Five Hour Day have had an increasingly hectic 2007, most recently supporting French solo artist Pokett at the East Brunswick Club, and Oh Mercy at Manchester Lane. Now working feverishly on the second album, Twenty Five Hour Day are set to enter the studio for a second time in early 2008.
