Bio

Simple Indecision is a band that formed in the summer of 2006 in Rockledge, Pennsylvania. Steve (lead guitar) and Ryan (drums) have been collaborating ever since Ryan started messing around with his drums. When Mike moved to the neighborhood, he began to take guitar lessons a few years later, and that's when the ball would start to roll.

Mike and Steve started taking guitar lessons together, even though Steve had completed classical lessons earlier in his childhood, they both took rock guitar lessons, sometimes having a lesson together with their teacher. As Mike took to the guitar, he began to get more and more interested in the writing of his own songs, instead of being able to play someone elses. Mike began to experiment with writing his own songs, and came to his teacher, and Steve one day, with a skeleton of a song. And you know it had to be recorded soon there after.

Steve and Mike knew there was potential here, and decided to ask Ryan if he'd play the drums for them. More than once had they heard Ryan play, and knew he was qualified. So then there was the three. But who to play the bass?

The band scurried to find a bass player, asking first their long time friend Trevor Grasso. But, only having practiced a few times, and not even making it to the first show they were supposed to play together, Trevor decided to pursue football. There were no hard feelings, and both sides understood. After Trevor came in Bri Myers. Bri really didn't play bass, but he had been playing the guitar and could easily pick it up. And so he did. Over the next year, the band would practice and play small gigs, competing in the Emergenza music festival and making it to the Semi finals for the entire city of Philadelphia, and being contacted by a company from Maryland called Quickstar Studios, who wanted to use the band's song "Never Knew Myself" on a compilation album featuring only 20 sum artists from up and down the east coast.

Now the group is looking for bigger fish to fry. Playing the mainstage at the Trocadero is their biggest feat as of late, playing that in Sept 08. The band now has more shows coming up, will hopefully start the recording of their first full length album in the spring, and much more. So watch this group, because things are happening.
