Dani Love

Dani Love

 Castaic, California, USA

A modern-day Billie Holiday, Dani Love delivers a sultry blend of soulful sounds reminscent of artists like Jill Scott, Corinne Bailey Rae and Alicia Keys. In live performance she is magnetic... the woman in red, all eyes on Lady Love.

Dani Love is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer, whose eclectic blend of genres produces melodies that will catch your heart and mind and linger on your lips. The artist has been writing original poetry and songs since the age of twelve.
Still in her tender years, Dani’s experience ministers to a mature audience, beyond her own years, and engages a younger, searching audience. Pulling words as if from the air, Dani Love recounts stories that you thought were only yours.
Dani’s first aspirations toward performing formed at the age of five under the influence of artists like Whitney Houston, Anita Baker and Michael Jackson. Growing up, she joined choruses in all of her schools and as a teenager, she recorded and performed as part of the Hip-Hop/R&B duo, Kinfolk. In 2003, Dani’s song “That’s All” won an Honorable Mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. She has performed her inspirational classic “I’m Sure” at multiple weddings and events.
Now with a mind toward sharing her experiences and love of music with others, she relates to classic artists like Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson. Being a child of the 80’s, elements of rock, hip-hop, reggae and latin rhythms also color her music. Like the artist herself, her sound is made up of an interesting blend of influences. Some have even called her the next Brenda Russell, citing her music as timeless, songs that artists will cover for years to come.
Influences as diverse as Billie Holiday, Anita Baker, Madonna, Prince, Smokey Robinson, Gloria Estefan and Sade have created a personality that music culture is waiting to claim as its own.
