Bio

Sally and Sarah are both singer/songwriters, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. They perform on stage as a duo, accompanied with acoustic guitar and the African drum known as the djembe.

Sally and Sarah are mirror image twins whose close relationship has directly influenced their music. They have been singing for over two decades now and their voices continue to grow closer and closer together. Their tight harmonies leave it next to impossible to distinguish between their two voices. Their gift of harmonizing has been an essential part of their originality and sentimental aspect of their songs. They feel it a blessing to be able to share their passion for music with each other and their listeners. “Our tight harmonies allow us to emphasize our message that we want to convey to our listeners.” – Sally.

From the ages of seven to twelve, Sally and Sarah belonged to a band where they learned to play a variety of instruments, the bass guitar, 6-string acoustic guitar, 12-string acoustic and several percussion instruments. Their passion and drive for music started here and has continued ever since.
SincerelyYours was formed early 2008, and they have been working hard on their debut album to be released January 2010. They have been performing at many local venues in Toronto and the surrounding area, The Cameron House, The Smiling Buddha Bar, The Raq, Gorilla Monsoon, etc., and they’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of many different fundraisers for the past couple years with many more on the agenda for 2009. It is very important to SincerelyYours to give back to the community by sharing their musical talent and along the way helping remind their listeners of their own passions and encourage them to pursue their dreams.

SincerelyYours is focused on writing lyrics that are based on real life experiences. This has allowed them to express emotions that are true and real through their music, in turn, their audiences can really connect with them, on and off stage.

“Life is full of experiences, let us learn from each other and become better people.” - Sarah
