"CHRIS"

Singapore Kane might have the smoothest flow in hip-hop. No bullshit. Dude can slide a concrete rhyme across a Richard Marx sample and make it home in time to drop some lumber in your girl. With production from beat kings including DJ Premier and a cross-section of the Boston scene (Singapore plays both sides of the pavement—street and underground), his debut full-length should prove that he’s even more prolific than he displayed on this year’s dynamically written Welcome to Singapore mix tape." ~ Weekly Dig - THE WEEKLY DIG

Bio

Singapore Kane is a rising star in his native city of Boston, Massachusetts. At an early age Singapore was introduced to the sounds and style of music, being born of Jamaican decent to his mother Faith and Legendary Boston reggae artist "Danny Tucker". Singapore Kane started preparing for his quest to become a force in the hip-hop industry in the Fourth grade through his ability to write great poems, limericks and haiku's. Singapore has proven to be an artist of true lyrical content, hence where he got his name Singapore Kane; through his lyrical bashing of opponents during freestyle sessions and battles. Singapore Kane is an artist that when listened to, his music contains vivid imagery whether about streets or politics, it leaves you with plenty to envision and contemplate . "You don't hear my lyrics, you see em" ~Singapore Kane

Singapore is a dedicated advocate for inner city youth struggling with life and voices his concerns on tracks. Described as a "Street Journalist/Observer" for the way he speaks about the inner city and the controversies surrounding them derived from the adversities of the world.
