¡Single Triple Double!

With a "band sleepover" at Zack's house in mid 2008 and the possibility of a few illicit substances, especially for high schoolers, a band named Single Triple Double was created with the goal of playing music, meeting some new people, and making some adventures on the way. Boomer, Zack and Shane started this by trying to put some music together with drums, guitar, and piano. After a few weeks of this, we decided to bring in Anthony on guitar and Brian on bass, and Shane switched from piano to violin. From there, we started practicing as much as possible, playing as much as possible(although Colorado Springs does not hold the best music scene), and 5 or 6 months into it, we have found our sound and settled down as a band. Our influences span anywhere from old 60's rebellious music, to classic rock such as the velvet underground to new bands like built to spill, modest mouse, the child ballads, and anyone who can make good music. We are set apart from other bands because we try to find a mix between set songs and jams in our live shows, and instead of trying to boast our skills as musicians, we try to use our instruments to make unique sounds and use them all to create one full exciting sound. Also, we try to make as many different styled songs as possible as opposing to sticking in one genre.
