A fresh, new, powerful voice on today's music scene, Samara brings an honest and soulful sound to the mic and marries it to inspiring, expressive and liberating lyrics. Born in Trinidad, West Indies, Samara began her singing career at an early age, singing in church where the rhythm and mood of music first met her. After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, Samara continued to develop her talent. Now as a singer, songwriter and poet, she greets audiences with a hypnotizing, captivating, ethnic soul. Her music rings of lessons and expressions to both entertain and edify. Samara has shared her vocal talent at open mics, talent shows, concerts, festivals and showcases all over the country. Samara has also recorded vocals for a number of Indie projects in various genres. Samara’s debut album, “Authenticity” showcases both her talents as a writer and as a powerful and gifted vocalist. Rooted in her faith and inspired by all who are true to themselves, Samara’s goal is to inspire all who hear her music to celebrate their own authenticity and live life to the fullest.
