Sinister
(Song writer/producer/engineer/musician)

Sinister was born into a very musical family. His grandfather, James Lacefield at the age of twelve had his own live musical performance radio show and by his early 20's, had a nationally syndicated radio show on the CBS network. Most of his band mates went on to play in the Lawrence Whelk orchestra. He gave up all of that to settle down and start a family. Sinister’s mother performed with Don Ho (of tiny bubbles fame) in Hawaii during the late 60's.
Sinister began playing guitar at the age of 15 and it soon became an obsession. For the first 3 years he played about 8-10 hours a day and would usually fall asleep with his guitar still strapped to him. By the age of 17 he began playing professionally in local clubs with as many bands as possible. He played in at least two bands at a time and sometimes as many as four at once. The list of bands is too long to remember.
He began writing and recording original material at 18 and doing session work for local artists at 21. After about a dozen local original projects he grew weary of the small town mentality. Sinister packed up and headed for L.A. to make a new start. Sinister’s first job was as an intern at a small record label in Studio City. After learning some of the good and the bad of what the music industry really is, it was once again time to move on.
Sinister has been pursuing his musical path for 20 years now and all his hard work is showing results. Over the last 4 years, Sinister has been doing L.A. session work for producers such as David Longoria (Sting, Aretha Franklin, etc.) Chris Spilfogel (Mariah Carey, Luther Vandrose, Justin Timberlake) and artists such as hardcore rapper "The Realist" as well as composing and producing for independent artists. He has recently begun writing symphonis
Compositions for film and television as well as placing a song on Hillary Duff’s upcoming release.
Things just keep getting bigger and bigger for Sinister and he is ensuring longevity
In a buisness that has a tendency to devore most and send them home licking their wounds.
